About the hotel

The story of Hôtel Margaux is first and foremost that of a family project that came to life in 2018. At the time, we were looking for a place that would enable us to combine our sense of hospitality with our desire to create an upscale venue where we could entertain in complete authenticity. So we discovered this bourgeois mansion, which offered incredible potential for welcoming our guests in 11 traditionally styled, refined rooms.

And then, in 2020, a unique opportunity presented itself when the presbytery next door came up for sale. So we immediately decided to acquire it, in order to gain more space, and above all to offer a luxury hotel in an atypical location full of charm. Today, an extension connects the two buildings, which house 27 elegantly styled rooms and suites.

Why Hôtel Margaux? Margaux is our daughter. She studied oenology and quickly realized that there was only one step between this field and the hotel business. It was at the end of her 3rd year, when she saw the project being built and progressing, that she decided to join us in the adventure. Diploma in hand, she cut her teeth in a 5* hotel and is now part of the team alongside us.

Today, our project is more than just a hotel. It’s a place where tradition meets modern comfort, where every detail is carefully thought out to offer you an unforgettable experience. We are proud to share this unique place with you and invite you to discover the timeless charm of our establishment.
